With nearly 20 years of experience working in the preclinical imaging industry I have had the opportunity to learn and understand the basics of almost all commonly used imaging modalities. However, understanding a modality and how it works, is not sufficient to operate a specific piece of equipment to perform high quality, reproducible, imaging studies.
